About the Book
This Abstract Book features scientific contributions from the National Conference on Advances in Biopharmaceuticals and Translational Biotechnology (ABTB 2026), held from 1st to 4th September 2026 at The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam. The conference was jointly organized by the School of Pharmacy and the Department of Biotechnology (School of Basic and Applied Sciences), in association with the IQAC Cell and IPR Cell, and sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT-CTEP), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
The volume captures a broad spectrum of research spanning biologics, biosimilars, molecular technologies, personalized medicine, pharmacogenomics, bioinformatics, nanobiotechnology, computational drug discovery, and traditional phytomedicines. It serves as a vital record of emerging ideas, methodologies, and translational insights aiming to bridge laboratory research with clinical and industrial application.
About the Editors
Dr. Anil Kumar Adimulapu is a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy at The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam. He has 18 years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional leadership. His research focuses on pharmaceutical formulation and advanced drug delivery systems, including controlled-release, floating, gastroretentive, bilayer, and pulsatile systems.
Dr. Lipika Khataniar serves as Head and Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at The Assam Kaziranga University. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology from Assam Agricultural University. Her research spans agriculture, molecular biology, and microbiology, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary solutions.
Ms. Liza Devi holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at The Assam Kaziranga University. She has worked as an Assistant Professor at Kaliabor College and currently serves as a Technical Supervisor at Octopus Inc., specializing in laboratory operations and agricultural biotechnology applications.
Ms. Purbasha Kalita is a Research Scholar in the Department of Biotechnology at The Assam Kaziranga University. Her research interests encompass microbial biotechnology, environmental bioremediation, microbial diversity, molecular biology, and sustainable biotechnological applications.
