Description
Engineering Physics
PREFACE
This book has been prepared specifically for B.Tech. First-Year Engineering students
with the objective of presenting the fundamental concepts of Engineering Physics
in a clear, simple, and accessible manner. Many students encounter difficulty when transitioning
into engineering studies, particularly due to unfamiliar terminology and the mathematical
framework required to understand physical principles.
Each chapter is written in an easy-to-follow style and is supported by illustrations,
solved numerical examples, and real-life applications to help students visualize and
relate theoretical concepts to practical situations. Topics are explained step by step,
beginning with basic principles and gradually advancing toward application-oriented understanding.
The book emphasizes the close relationship between physics and engineering by demonstrating
how fundamental principles are applied in modern technologies, devices, and industrial processes.
Our goal is to make Engineering Physics both interesting and meaningful to learners.
I sincerely thank my colleagues, students, and well-wishers for their encouragement.
I also express my gratitude to my institution for its support.
I hope this book inspires students to explore science with confidence and curiosity.
