Dr. K. Rajesh is a distinguished academic and researcher in Physics with extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. He has 13 years experience in teaching and 15 years in Research. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru. Previously, he held several key leadership positions, including Associate Dean (Research & Development), Director of the Centre for Hydrogen Energy Research, and Deputy Director (Research) at AMET University, Chennai. His research expertise encompasses crystal growth, nanomaterials, inorganic and functional oxides, DFT-based theoretical investigations of organic derivatives, and advanced materials for energy, camouflage, pigment, and smart construction applications. He has made significant contributions to industry-sponsored and interdisciplinary research projects. Dr. Rajesh has published over 50 research articles in well-reputed international journals and has authored five books/book chapters. He also holds three patents to his credit. His academic interests further extend to quantum technologies, optics, and outcome-based education, with active involvement in national accreditation and ranking processes such as NAAC, NBA, and NIRF. With a strong commitment to mentorship, collaboration, and translational research, he continues to bridge fundamental scientific research, indigenous knowledge systems, and industrial relevance.
